More about the speakers

All her life, Britanny has had a strong attraction to everything fashion. After the pandemic put her event business on hold, she took time to think about her true passion, realizing it has always been style and fashion. Knowing she wanted to get back into the fashion industry, a few friends told Britanny she should look into fashion and wardrobe styling. At the time, becoming a stylist didn't seem possible until she came across The Business of Personal Styling course at Pivot. This course taught her how to get her foot in the door and gave her the tools to be confident in her ability to style clients and build a personal brand and fashion business.

Jon Jenks is a Detroit native, and he's building a name for himself in Detroit, styling one client at a time. Jon has been styling friends for many years but has been styling clients professionally for a year now. Pivot helped put the pedal to the metal on Jon's career path, and he sees a very bright future thanks to the course at Pivot! He's been working on several new projects, including landing a deal with Jimmy Choo. He's also very excited to connect with some well-known fashion houses and hopes to bring a warm and exciting form of styling to the city of Detroit. Although Jon's resume may be short now, he aims to take his career to new heights in the years to come, including creating outerwear merchandise, working on movie sets, and landing spreads in recognizable fashion magazines.
